CREDIT CARD VERIFICATION CODES: INCREASED CREDIT CARD SECURITY ON THE INTERNET

We are all aware of the risks of credit card fraud, on and off the Internet. In an effort to ensure maximum security and peace of mind for purchases made over the Internet, banks, credit card companies and businesses including Werk Thoroughbred Consultants, have developed and adopted the Credit Card Verification Code system. This CCVC does not appear when a store makes an imprint of your card during a purchase. This new CCVC system, along with the address and zip code verification, has greatly reduced the amount of fraud over the phone and on the Internet.

VISA & MASTERCARD
For your safety and security, we require that you enter your card's verification number. The verification number is a 3-digit number printed on the back of your card. It appears after and to the right of your card number.

AMERICAN EXPRESS
For your safety and security, we require that you enter your card's verification number. The American Express verification number is a 4-digit number printed on the front of your card. It appears after and to the right (above) of your card number.
